I knew I shouldn't have turned on the T.V.

Our economy is in the tank, we are in the middle of a war on terror, we just elected a president who has a very troubling agenda, the Democrats are going to keep recounting votes until they get their 60-seat Senate majority and can screw up our country in ways that we might never recover from, and what do I see when I turn on the news?

-Rosie O'Donnell feuding with Barbara Walters and complaining about her "post-traumatic stress disorder" after leaving The View. (I've never watched The View. I never will.)

-Paris Hilton is breaking up with her boyfriend. (I don't care. Do you? Does anyone?)

-Mrs. Hulk Hogan is broke, despite the $40,000 a month in alimony she receives. (Linda, after all of the ridiculous statements you have made, aren't you embarrassed yet?)

The mainstream media refused to report most of the concerning questions about Barack Obama's past, but they will air this crap. If I wanted to hear celebrity updates, I would watch Entertainment Tonight.

Some of the same garbage was even on Fox News.

This is why I primarily get my news online. At least I can pick and choose which stories I want to click on.

Even in these straitened and worrying economic times, there's one thing that warms the cockles of my heart: the fact that shrill, bigoted Ann Coulter wannabes like you have had their political and cultural agenda resoundingly rejected by the American people. Enjoy the next eight years: your point of view is now completely irrelevant.
