There are a lot of things wrong in this country

And this is just one of them.

When we decorate any of our public buildings on Christian holidays, we are told that it violates the separation of church and state.

But the Empire State Building is lit up in green to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, the "Festival of Fast-breaking," which marks the end of Ramadan.

From what I understand, this is the second year in a row this has been done. So we shouldn't celebrate Christmas, but Muslim terrorists attack our country in the name of their religion and a few years later we start lighting up one of our iconic buildings to honor that very religion.

Un-EFFING-believable!

Have you seen my quote on the sidebar of my blog from Chesler? That is why this is done. But just to be fair they light the building for just about everything including Xmas.

I read the post and was infuriated! Ok, then I read Lauren's comment and I couldn't find the explanation, would like to know more though!
